These terms apply to SchoolOS, a school management platform run by OSARTech, a subsidiary of Osso Engineering LTD (“we”, “us”). By using SchoolOS you agree to them. A school's subscription may also be covered by a separate written agreement; where the two differ, that agreement applies.

1. Who may use SchoolOS

Schools subscribe to SchoolOS and create accounts for their staff, students and parents. Each person must use only their own account and keep their password private. The school is responsible for who it gives access to and for the accuracy of what it enters.

2. Acceptable use

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell the school.

3. Plans, fees and payment

4. Data

The school owns its data and is its data controller; we process it on the school's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. A school may export its data, and when it leaves we delete or anonymise it within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep it.

5. Results and records

SchoolOS computes totals, grades and positions from the scores and settings the school enters. The school is responsible for checking and publishing results. Report cards carry a QR code that lets anyone confirm a card is genuine and unchanged.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep SchoolOS available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example for maintenance or by events outside our control. We improve the platform continually; if we remove a feature a school relies on, we will give reasonable notice.

7. Liability

We provide SchoolOS with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to a school in any year is limited to the subscription fees that school paid us in that year. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the service

A school may stop using SchoolOS at the end of its paid period. We may end the service to a school that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after notice. On ending, the school can export its data as set out above.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
